The beach adjacent to Bang Bao Fisherman Village is undoubtedly picturesque, but don't let its beauty fool you. The atmosphere is lackluster, and the Koh Chang style is nothing to write home about. Sure, there are restaurants and bars to lounge around in, but they're nothing special. The water is murky, and there's not much to do besides wade around. It's no wonder the beach is only popular with foreigners - the locals know better. And as for the fresh food from fishermen, well, it's nothing to write home about either. Save your time and find a better spot to spend your day.
