It was truly remarkable! It felt like we were in a different country. We had miles of beach to ourselves and only a couple of other dog walkers. It was great to go somewhere so secluded for a change. Life seemed to be much calmer in this area.

This beach is simply breathtaking, with its sandy shore and crystal clear waters. When the tide recedes, there are plenty of shallow pools perfect for paddling. Dogs are welcome all year round, and you can take the ferry to Padstow for a nominal fee. A great day out!

This beach is a great spot for dogs, as they can be off-leash all year round. There's plenty of space for everyone to enjoy, and the sand is soft. However, it's best to bring some shade if it's a sunny day. The car park can get busy, like most places, so it's best to arrive early. If you can't, there's all-day parking at the top and it's only a 10-minute walk down. For an extra special day, take the ferry over to Padstow.

There's no doubt that this beach is one of the best in the UK. I'm from Dorset, which has some of the best beaches in the UK, but Rock is truly amazing and it's also dog-friendly!

We parked at Rock Road car park and were delighted to find a great sandy beach, perfect for kids as the waters were calm and ideal for dog walking. We also had the option of walking to Daymar Bay or taking the ferry across to Padstow.
