The beach in Captiva is an absolute must-visit! It is teeming with shells that are eagerly awaiting their new homes. The crystal-clear waters are simply breathtaking. However, finding parking can be quite challenging due to the limited space available, so it's advisable to arrive early to secure a spot. You can easily spend hours combing the beach for the perfect shell to bring back as a souvenir. The overall atmosphere of the beach is incredibly laid-back, making time fly by in what feels like mere minutes.

I decided to make a quick stop at the beach one morning to search for shells during sunrise. The beach is absolutely stunning and incredibly serene. However, there are only a limited number of parking spots available, approximately 12. Arriving at sunrise, I noticed that there were only about 5 other people on the beach. I was fortunate enough to find some shells, as there is a wide variety to sift through. The water is quite rough, so it's definitely not suitable for swimming. Overall, it was an enjoyable outing that I would definitely repeat. On the other side of the bridge, facing Blind Pass, is Turner Beach. It appeared to be more crowded and offered a smaller stretch of shoreline to walk along.

Blind Pass is constantly changing, with strong rip currents being a common occurrence. It's a fantastic spot for fishing and collecting shells, with convenient parking available on both the North and South sides of the beach. Just remember to pay for parking. It's also a wonderful location to witness the full sunset.

Believe me when I tell you, it's best to arrive early! Finding parking can be quite challenging, and the traffic is absolutely crazy, but it's definitely worth it. Blind Pass Beach is stunning, and if you venture out to the sandbar, you'll discover an abundance of seashells! I stumbled upon sand dollars, nautilus shells, and many other treasures. Surprisingly, it's not crowded at all! I ended up spending the entire day here.

This beach is perfect for shelling, fishing, swimming, or simply sitting and unwinding. It is also an excellent spot to catch the breathtaking sunset on Sanibel. They accept both A and B parking passes, as well as an hourly rate of $5. However, please note that parking availability at this location is extremely limited. In case you cannot find a spot here, you might have to park at Turner across the bridge and walk back to Blind Pass. If you plan on shelling or fishing, it's advisable to arrive early; otherwise, you may have to explore other beach options for the day.
