10 Exceptional

East Cape Sable was the destination of our kayak camping trip in December 2012. We watched the sunset on the 9th and the sunrise on the 10th. The natural beauty of the area was breathtaking, and it was incredibly secluded - the only way to access it was by boat. Winter is the best time to visit, as the bugs are less of a nuisance. However, you should bring your own fresh water, stored in a secure container, as there is wildlife such as raccoons in the area. If you want to experience the real Florida in its rawest form, this is one of many places to do so. Just remember to bring everything you need and take everything you brought with you when you leave, leaving the area as pristine as you found it.
