Key Colony beach

After reading numerous positive reviews, my husband and I decided to book this resort for our wedding anniversary getaway. And let me tell you, the resort definitely lived up to our expectations! We had an amazing time at Glunz, particularly in our spacious and clean Oceanview Suite. The room provided everything we could possibly need, including kitchen appliances, toiletries, and even robes. The private beach and pools at the resort were never too crowded, allowing us to easily find a relaxing spot. We were also impressed with the well-maintained additional amenities such as the gym, complimentary bike rentals, kayaks, paddle boards, umbrellas, and lounge chairs. Moreover, the staff were incredibly friendly and always delightful to chat with whenever we passed through the lobby. Although we didn't have a chance to visit the restaurant bar next door, we thoroughly enjoyed the live music from our balcony in the evenings. Overall, I cannot emphasize enough how much we truly loved our stay at this resort!

The pool and beach were fantastic. However, our room was poorly maintained and lacked proper furnishings. Although the linens were clean, the floor was extremely dirty. I reported the issue to the front desk, but they only provided a mop without any further assistance. Additionally, the beach area was neglected and not cleaned throughout our two-night stay. Next time we visit the keys, we will search for alternative accommodations.

We came down here for our annual business trip and we were not disappointed. This is something we have been doing for 15 years and for the first time, I felt compelled to extend the trip for a few more days. The staff here is incredibly attentive. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. Initially, check-in was supposed to be at 4 pm, but they allowed us to check in at 2:30. Both Patty and Mrs. Janet, who is in upper management, made us feel like we were at home. We stayed in Villa #6, which was perfect for my family and me. We had a BBQ right behind our villa where we cooked the lobsters we caught. The location, right on the beach, was truly a gift. We even went fishing on the shoreline with my wife, mother-in-law, 2 1/2-year-old son, and one of my best friends. It was a moment that we will always cherish, especially since it was my son's first fish. The only slightly negative thing I can mention is that there is no phone in the room. However, honestly, we didn't need one because everything was perfect. I want to express my gratitude to Mrs. Janet and Patty for providing us with such an amazing time. We will definitely be returning next year!

This hotel, which claims to be a hotel and resort, is actually more like a motel. The property is quite old and is in need of updates. Unfortunately, there is no phone in the room to contact the front desk for assistance. Moreover, after 9pm, there is no staff available on site, so you have to reach out to someone off site for help. However, the pool is quite lovely and the location is excellent. The main thing you are paying for is the convenient location. Upon entering the room, we were disappointed to find that there wasn't even a blanket on the bed. Additionally, the room thermostat and the safe were both non-functional. Moreover, there are no food options available on site, nor are there any vending machines. There is, however, a nearby restaurant which is quite expensive.

The location is absolutely stunning, and it's conveniently only an hour away from Key West and other popular destinations. Although the place is a bit older, it is still spacious and offers private beach access. My favorite aspect was the direct access to Havana Jacks, where I enjoyed their incredible food. The only downside was that one employee was a little rude when I wanted to fly my drone. Apart from that, everything was perfect, and I will definitely return.
