Camp Wesumkee beach

We had an amazing vacation staying in their Glamping tent for a week. The tent provided great comfort and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Being so close to the water was a major plus. The lack of light pollution at night allowed us to enjoy the stunning beauty of the night skies. Moreover, this campsite is conveniently located near Key West, Marathon, and a stunning state park, offering plenty of opportunities for exploration and activities. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

The food at the BSA camp was average, but the beach where it was located was absolutely beautiful. Asher was amazing and he recommended a great snorkeling spot nearby. We stayed here for two nights before our Sea Base Adventure. After having an early dinner, we also visited Key West.

The camping experience at Scout Key, right by the Ocean, was absolutely fantastic. The shower facilities and restrooms were kept clean and tidy. The staff was extremely helpful, and there were plenty of amenities available.

This beach is truly one of the best spots for camping. The staff is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is so peaceful and quiet. They even have a pier! The beach itself is fantastic, and everything is kept clean. Plus, it's very affordable and comfortable. You can easily book your camping spot online through their website. I highly recommend this camp to everyone, as they also allow service animals. Additionally, I believe it's a great place to stay with kids!

This beach offers a wonderful family vacation experience for those who enjoy camping and want to unwind a bit more than usual. It's not exactly glamping, but the family tents are spacious and provide some privacy from the kids if desired. The beds are comfortable, and the air conditioner provides just enough relief on hot days to help you sleep. While the water may not be the most suitable for swimming, you can easily walk down the road to reach the horseshoe beach, or visit Bahia State Park for a perfect family day in the water. The staff is excellent, and there are activities available during the weekends. Additionally, the site often hosts boyscout troops passing through on their way to other Sea Base adventures in the area. Although the fire pits are a bit far from the tents, each one has its own fire ring with a cooking grill. Furthermore, each tent is equipped with an extra-large picnic table/bench. Many of the photos I posted were taken at night using the Galaxy S22 Ultra in night mode under a full moon. Bonus: Once the lights are out, the night sky is absolutely breathtaking from this location, with no other buildings or lights on the island.
