The experience of witnessing the sunset from this beach was truly enchanting. The tranquility of the surroundings, with only the sound of the waves breaking on the shore, made for a truly magical moment. The gradual change of colors in the sky was a sight to behold and left me in awe. I highly recommend visiting this beach, but be sure to arrive early as public parking is limited.

The beach is undoubtedly one of the most picturesque locations on the island with its shallow waters that are perfect for young children. The abundance of shells and stunning vistas only add to the charm of this place. During peak season weekends, parking can be a bit of a challenge, but weekdays in the off-season are relatively calm. In the summer, boats often congregate here, and beach parties are a common sight. The parking area is equipped with porta-potties and an outdoor shower for the convenience of visitors.

The oak Island point is an absolute gem of a beach, perfect for seashell hunting and getting away from the hustle and bustle of crowded beaches. I have been frequenting this beach since my childhood and now I am delighted to take my own little ones along. This stretch of sand is a haven for young children, especially during low tide. The shoreline is teeming with an array of delightful creatures such as fiddler crabs, hermit crabs, and small fish that are sure to captivate their curious minds. It's an ideal spot for some beachcombing and exploration with a bucket and a small net. However, one must exercise caution while venturing out into the water as the currents can be unpredictable during tide changes.
