I really enjoy this place. Walking along the path and taking in the views is a favorite activity of mine. The seals and sea lions are also a great sight to see. It's a lovely park to unwind in, with vendors and rows of beautiful palm trees surrounding it.

If you're in La Jolla, this charming beach is definitely worth a visit. The water is crystal clear and pleasantly cool. You can find some delightful shells and other beach treasures here, though they may be small. However, the steep cement stairs leading down to the beach may not be suitable for older individuals. All in all, I had a wonderful time at this beach and would definitely suggest it to a friend.

In my opinion, this small beach doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Although there are bigger and arguably more attractive beaches in the vicinity, the rocks, tide pools, and cliffs at Shell are truly delightful.

This beach is an excellent location to observe the wildlife, including those who are observing the wildlife themselves. In the months of March and April, the only swimmers you'll find here are the adorable California seal pups. Additionally, there are a handful of sea lions from the nearby cove, as well as pelicans and the ever-present sea gulls.

The beauty of Shell Beach is undeniable, with its impressive rock formations along the cliffs and abundant sea life. While La Jolla Cove is a more popular spot for sea lions, you may still spot a few around this beach. However, be cautious when descending to the shore as it can be steep. Fortunately, there are restrooms conveniently located in the nearby park.
