As a child, I have fond memories of visiting this beach, and now as an adult living nearby, I feel lucky to still have access to it. The parking lot offers a stunning view of the ocean, and once you make your way down the stairs or ramp, bathrooms are conveniently located. The beach is perfect for leisurely walks, and if you walk to the pier and back, it's just over 3 miles. Keep an eye out for seals or dolphins if you're lucky! Although I usually bring my dog on a leash, I've noticed more and more dogs off-leash lately. Unfortunately, my dog tends to get overly excited when approached by other dogs, so I've had to leave him at home.

The beach is stunning, well-maintained, and conveniently accessible. The premium sites are particularly breathtaking, with stunning views of the beach and the surrounding natural beauty. Additionally, the sites are generously spaced and offer plenty of room to spread out and relax.

The beach is quite lovely, and it's perfectly acceptable to bring your dog as long as they're on a leash. If you venture a bit further down the shore, you'll find ample space to spread out on the sand. During my most recent visit, I was fortunate enough to witness a large group of pelicans diving for their dinner. It's a great spot to spend a day, especially if you're camping at the nearby state park. There's even a trail that leads directly from the campsites to the beach.
