I just wish the park rangers would enforce the no animals policy more strictly. I've noticed a few people walking their dogs on the beach despite the clearly posted signs.

The beach is amazing and definitely worth the brief hike! Once you're there, head left and continue along the shoreline until you come across a narrow rocky trail that leads to a secluded area of the beach that seems to be known mostly by the locals. The views are breathtaking, and it seems like the fishing is pretty good, according to some of the folks we met there. It's an ideal spot for a family outing.

This is a lovely little beach located in the Pierce Ranch section of Point Reyes National Seashore. To get there, you'll need to take a short hike through a canyon from the parking lot, but there is a bathroom available for your convenience.

This beach located along Pt Reyes National Seashore is absolutely stunning. It's about a mile hike from the parking lot, which takes around 15 minutes. The drive from the bear valley visitor center is also beautiful, particularly the last 10 minutes where you'll go over and around the rolling hills with cows grazing. On weekdays during late afternoons, the beach is quiet and secluded. However, those who aren't used to hiking may struggle on the way back to the parking lot since there are no resting spots or benches on the rather narrow trail. It's important to bring your own water, but there is a bathroom available in the parking lot. Visitors can find 3-4 large pieces of driftwood scattered throughout the beach where they can sit down and rest. Overall, my experience at this beach was lovely and it was eerily empty on the day before the shelter in place order in Marin county.
