The beach itself is absolutely pristine and stunning. It offers a fantastic panoramic view of the city and Diamond Head. Additionally, you can enjoy watching the airplanes as they arrive at the airport over the ocean. The sunsets here are particularly breathtaking, as well as the early mornings. You'll usually find a few fishermen and occasionally some surfers. There's also a basketball court, a spacious field, a small playground, and what appears to be a run-down facility, possibly for bathrooms and outdoor showers. Every time I've visited, there have been homeless individuals camping out under the shelter of the facility, with their belongings set up next to the showers. Occasionally, there is a slight smell of urine in the air. I haven't ventured over there because it seems a bit suspicious, and I'm uncertain about the situation. Towards the grassy area, there are approximately five picnic tables, and there's plenty of beach space to share. This place is never crowded on weekdays, making it a refreshing local hangout. While it could benefit from some sprucing up, it still possesses a pleasant and charming atmosphere. The parking lot seems secure, although it's located at the end of a road where I occasionally spot tall piles of trash dumped by the roadside. I hope you find this information helpful.

The beach and its location are fantastic! Although it is mainly frequented by locals, everyone is welcome as long as they clean up after themselves and show respect to the locals. The surf can be a bit rough, and there are rocks in the water, so it's important to be cautious. If you're interested in plane spotting, this is a wonderful place to enjoy it!

The restroom can be inconsistent in terms of cleanliness, but it's generally acceptable. The presence of three showers and a changing area is quite helpful. I really appreciate the kids' playground because, like my own child, they tend to get bored of the sand and water and enjoy playing there. The availability of a basketball court and volleyball net is fantastic. Additionally, there are a few tables and benches, which is great. On weekdays, the place is usually not too crowded, which is a bonus. However, it's important to note that there isn't much shade, so be prepared for plenty of sun exposure.
