4 Frustrating

The title is quite misleading as this place is certainly not a boat ramp. It can only be reached on foot, and it would require a significant amount of effort to walk, drag, or transport a light 40-pound boat to the bay from here. So, it's definitely not suitable for launching boats. However, if you're looking for a picturesque spot to capture stunning photos of the bay, this place is perfect. Plus, there are bathroom facilities available as well.

I went to this boat ramp and the surrounding area to rinse off after snorkeling at Manini Beach nearby. The showers were like the typical outdoor showers found all over the island, but they didn't have shower heads (which wasn't an issue). Surprisingly, the water was quite warm compared to other showers of the same kind. The bathroom facilities were generally more modern than other places. Being close to the ancient Heiau, it's a good spot to launch a boat, rinse off, or use the restroom.
