I absolutely loved it! I arrived at the beach before 8 am to avoid the crowds. I was thrilled to spot the same fish that I had seen at Captain Cook. It's a shame that I couldn't find the aloha sign hidden somewhere in the sand, near the historic site. Just a word of caution, be careful when exiting the water as you might get pushed into the rocks if you're not careful.

This beach is an amazing spot to relax and go snorkeling. It offers shallow waters for the little ones and fantastic snorkeling opportunities for the rest of us. The parking fee is $5, but there are only a few parking spaces available. You'll need to park and walk a few hundred feet. There are plenty of tropical fish to discover and the seascape is truly stunning.

This is a lovely destination to explore! Show respect and have a great time at the Bay. The official name of this beach is Honaunau Beach, hence its location on Honaunau Beach Rd. The local community finds it quite disrespectful to refer to it as Two Steps Beach, especially considering that their families have resided in the neighboring land for five or more generations. However, you'll be treated to breathtaking sights of various marine creatures, and if you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of dolphins or turtles in the vicinity.

Similar to other popular destinations, it is advisable to arrive early in order to secure a convenient parking spot and enjoy snorkeling before the arrival of large crowds and tour boats. This beach quickly became our preferred snorkeling spot on the island. Additionally, if you are unable to find free parking, there is a parking area directly across from Two Steps that charges a fee of five dollars. Navigating the entrance and exit can be slightly challenging, and the water depth descends quite rapidly, but the breathtaking views make it all worthwhile.

This beach is absolutely amazing for snorkeling! The water is quite calm since it's located in a bay. Finding public parking can be quite challenging, but fortunately, there is a private lot owned by a church right by the beach. You can easily park there by paying $5 to the attendant. However, I must mention that the "two steps" used to enter and exit the water can be a bit tricky to navigate, so I wouldn't recommend this spot for first-time snorkelers.
