This charming beach offers a delightful respite from the sun's rays in the morning hours, though it is advisable to come prepared for the intense afternoon heat. The view is simply stunning, with a picturesque landscape that will leave you in awe. It is highly recommended that you bring water shoes and goggles, as there are sea urchins in the water. These items will not only aid in spotting these creatures, but also provide some protection against them.

This beach is a true gem! The sand and water are pristine, making for a perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. What's more, it's not overly crowded, so you can enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. The beach is also equipped with picnic tables, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with loved ones. And if you're looking for an overnight adventure, there are plenty of camping grounds to choose from. This was the first beach we visited on the Big Island, and we're already planning our next trip back. 🌴🌊

If you're looking for a spot to camp near your vehicle, this beach is an excellent choice. With numerous shower options, including indoor stalls in two separate restrooms and outdoor beach showers scattered throughout, cleanliness is a top priority. The water is tranquil and ideal for swimmers of all ages. During our visit, we had the pleasure of sighting Nene geese, which added to the natural charm of the location. Overall, a fantastic destination! 👍🏽

This beach is perfect for me! It's great for families with kids, there are lots of places to camp, and guards patrol the area from 7pm to 4am. Plus, there are convenient amenities like outdoor showers, restrooms, drinking water, and a pavilion with tables and electrical outlets for crockpots. And let's not forget the beautiful golden sand! It's also a great spot for snorkeling.
