This cozy little beach nestled between Pompei and Naples offers a comfortable spot to soak up the sun. A bar is conveniently located on site, ensuring you won't go thirsty, and there are changing facilities available. The only downside is the lack of a shower for rinsing off after a refreshing swim in the sea. While you'll need to pay for the use of hammock chairs, the umbrellas are provided free of charge.
Upon my arrival at 4:30 pm, I inquired about a spot and was met with reluctance from the owner who informed me that they were closing in two hours. Despite needing to wait for a friend, I wished to stay and was charged 15 euros for a spot. The owner's poor manners left me feeling as if I was a burden and I couldn't help but feel that she may treat locals with more respect. Overall, my experience left me feeling mistreated.
The sight of immense heaps of waste in the evening was a disheartening experience. Uncertain whether this is a customary practice in Naples, we spent a few days in the area. It is our fervent hope that these unsightly piles are eventually cleared up. Despite the stunning vista of the mountains, we can only award a two-star rating.
