Ala Moana Beach

The public beach is excellent! The presence of some stones and rocks adds a bit of challenge to your swimming experience. Parking is available for free. The water is pristine, and the beach itself is well-maintained.

Ohiki-lolo Beach

This place was amazing with breathtaking views. It offers plenty of tide pools for swimming and cooling off. The water is crystal clear, but I suggest wearing water shoes if you plan on exploring further out and climbing on the rocks. It's a secluded spot where anything goes, perfect for a peaceful picnic or some quiet time away from the crowds. I hope this information is helpful and wish you a fantastic day.

Halona Beach Cove

The beach offers amazing waves that provide a thrilling experience for swimmers. The blowhole, which shoots water dozens of feet up into the air every few minutes, offers a breathtaking view. During calmer periods, visitors can jump off the rocks into the crystal clear waters. The beach is small, charming, and secluded from the road by high walls, creating a sense of seclusion. However, parking can be difficult, and there are no amenities available.

Waimea Bay Beach

We were overjoyed to stumble upon this hidden gem of a beach. The scenery was breathtakingly gorgeous and the waves were just right for a day of fun in the sun. Unfortunately, our snorkeling adventure didn't yield much success as we only spotted one species of fish. On top of that, the parking situation was less than ideal and we had to rely on luck to secure a spot. But in the end, we were fortunate enough to score a spot just as someone was leaving.

Bellows Field Beach Park

What a stunning beach! I requested a companion to take me to a serene location far from the hustle and bustle of the city, with pristine and unspoiled sands. Although it is a 30-minute drive from Waikiki, it is absolutely worth it. If you don't have a truck, keep in mind that you'll get stuck in the sand if you want to park right on the beach. There are a few parking spots available, but you'll have to walk a little to reach the shore. It was breezy on the day I visited, but the water was warm, and despite the presence of jellyfish, I managed to avoid getting stung. The beach also has a camping area with plenty of shade after 1 pm, where you can park. The restrooms are kept clean, and there is fresh running water to rinse off the saltwater. If you're looking for a lovely beach to explore, I strongly recommend this one!
