I was really let down to discover that dogs aren't allowed on the beach at all. Paid parking is required unless you arrive after 5pm, so we settled for walking along the river to the lake instead.

Beautiful spot, but gets crowded on weekends. There's a charming park close by with stunning blooming Japanese cherry trees. Great for taking photos with loved ones, especially in May and June.

I'm sure there are plenty of summer photos of this beach, but I wanted to share that it looks just as beautiful in the winter. 😊

I really like this beach, there is plenty of shallow water which is perfect for kids. My sister isn't a strong swimmer, so we prefer this beach because she feels more secure here. On the downside, parking is limited and now requires payment. This was unexpected as it wasn't the case a few months ago. During our visit in March 2022, we found the parking fees to be quite expensive. We paid $10 for about 3 hours and there is no flat rate option available. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up about this!

The water is clear but deep with good waves. There is free parking available. The water has a lot of black tree residues. One side of the water is colored. The beach is beautiful and has a lifeguard on duty.
