I stumbled upon this beach and it was an absolute gem. However, I must warn you that it can be quite touristy, so if you're seeking a more local vibe, keep that in mind. Additionally, there are freelancers who offer parking services, but you may have to shell out a few hundred colones to ensure a peaceful experience. During our visit, we indulged in the delectable cuisine at La Casita de Mr Wagner. The food was scrumptious and left us wanting more. We also had the pleasure of sipping on refreshing mojitos and piña coladas at the beachfront restaurant with blue umbrellas. In fact, my friend and I both agreed that these were the best versions of these drinks that we had ever tasted. Overall, this beach is a wonderful place to be and boasts a great location. We had no trouble driving from Monteverde and would highly recommend this spot to anyone seeking a relaxing day by the water.

If you're looking for a place to waste your time and money, Sàmara is the perfect destination. The beach is nothing special, and the locals are only nice because they want your tourist dollars. The village is small and unremarkable, with only a handful of overpriced restaurants and food that's barely edible. The surfing is mediocre at best, and the hiking trails are overcrowded and poorly maintained. The waterfalls nearby are nothing more than a trickle, and the sunsets are nothing to write home about. The full moon parties are a sad attempt at recreating a wild island experience, and the island itself is underwhelming. In short, Sàmara is one of the most overrated places I've ever been. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

This stunning seaside is a true gem, stretching out for miles on end. The northern end of the beach is perfect for a leisurely swim, while the southern end boasts larger waves that are ideal for those keen on surfing. The sheer beauty of this beach will leave you in awe, with its crystal-clear waters and soft, sandy shores. Whether you're looking to soak up the sun or catch some waves, this beach has something for everyone. Don't miss out on the chance to experience the natural wonder of this breathtaking beach!

6 Pleasant

Well, if it isn't the beach that left us feeling underwhelmed on our coastal adventure. The town was a bit on the petite side and the culinary options left us with a bit of a hunger pang. The majority of beach-goers were locals, with a sprinkling of tourists here and there. The shoreline was pleasant for a leisurely stroll and the view was easy on the eyes.

3 Poor

I was appalled by the amount of litter scattered across the entire stretch of the beach. It is imperative that the locals take responsibility for their waste and make a conscious effort to dispose of it properly. Additionally, the authorities should provide more garbage and recycling bins to encourage responsible waste management. It is disheartening to note that there are no recycling facilities available here at all.
