9 Excellent

Nestled in a remote location, Playa Corozalito is a hidden gem of a beach. Its charm lies in the opportunity to witness sea turtles in their natural habitat, or simply laze around on the velvety sand, basking in the sun or swaying in a hammock strung between the countless palm trees. However, it may not be the ideal spot for swimming enthusiasts, as the powerful waves and strong currents can be overpowering, especially for young children. Nonetheless, this beach offers a unique experience, and the absence of crowds is a refreshing change from other popular beaches. The journey to this beach on a motorcycle is an added bonus, adding to the overall allure of this secluded paradise.

On a Tuesday morning, we drove from Playa Carrillo with the hope of spotting some turtles. The beach we visited had gray sand, and I would say it was a decent spot to relax and soak up some sun.

Corozalito Beach is truly stunning! The drive towards it is adorned with palm trees, and the shore is sprinkled with gray sand and more palm trees.
