Sweet Kalimera

We had a wonderful vacation at Akti Beach Club (adult section). The grounds and rooms were impeccably clean, and the air conditioning was excellent. Our room was tidied up every day. All of the staff members were incredibly pleasant and friendly. The bar staff in the adult-only section were exceptional! There was no need to hurry for sunbeds in the morning as we usually secured them around 9 to 9:30 am. The food was enjoyable, especially the pizza and Chinese dishes. The complimentary shuttle bus into town was fantastic, and we relied on it frequently. It took approximately 10-15 minutes to reach the town. Overall, our holiday was truly fantastic, thanks to the amazing staff who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We will definitely be coming back.

We went on vacation to Kos and this hotel was fantastic. When we arrived at the reception, Christos, the best receptionist, gave us our key cards and personally escorted us to our rooms. Unfortunately, our key cards didn't work, but I assume it was just an issue with our specific room. Instead, we were provided with a regular key. The food at the hotel was amazing, and they were also very accommodating with allergens. The decor around the hotel was truly impressive. There was a wide variety of food available every day, with daily changes, although certain items like french fries or rice were always available. Our main concern was the beach, which was unfortunately too rocky for our preference. However, it was perfect for snorkeling, so we weren't too disappointed. If you're not a fan of rocky beaches, I would recommend bringing water shoes at the very least. The evening entertainment program was decent. Some nights were fantastic, like the Disney-themed night where the animators danced and sang. However, there was one night dedicated to Greek dancing, which should have been placed in the adult section since there were no children present at the end of the show, and only around 10 people attended. The animators themselves were incredibly friendly, funny, and helpful. There was a wide range of competitions and tournaments available, including archery and table tennis. The attached timetable was accurate as of the beginning of August 2023. Additionally, there were numerous activities to enjoy on the beach, such as the water sofa, UFO, and jet skis. Unfortunately, due to the wind, the pedalos were not available. The rooms themselves were excellent, with efficient air conditioning, plenty of charging ports, and a daily restocking of the minibar. There was also a safe provided for added security.

The hotel feels more like a three-star establishment, and the food is quite simple. Overall, the hotel is clean, but it's best to avoid the all-inclusive option. The adult-only section is pleasant and tranquil. Unfortunately, we felt that the overall experience was overpriced and didn't offer good value for the money we paid as a family of three.

The hotel was great, although the bathrooms could use some updating. However, they were clean and functional. The air conditioning was extremely cold, even more than necessary. The food was really enjoyable. As for the beach, it wasn't exactly what we were looking for. It had a very limited amount of volcanic sand, and there were large boulders beneath the water's surface, making it difficult to walk on. Nonetheless, the water was beautifully clear. The complimentary coach service to Kardamena was convenient. Overall, we would consider staying here again.

The hotel was absolutely stunning! We had a fantastic time throughout our stay. What truly enhanced our experience was the animation team. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and checked in on us regularly to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Despite their busy schedule leading activities, they still managed to spend quality time with the guests and actively engaged everyone in the evening events. The quizzes they organized were incredible, and the live music was a hit with everyone. They truly made our stay unforgettable!
