The beach has light, fine pebbles, adding to its natural beauty. However, the cost of transportation by boat is exorbitant.

The beach is located 8 kilometers down an unpaved road, but regular cars should be able to handle it without issue. The final turn is a bit rough, but parking a bit further up will solve the problem. On windy days, the beach can be quite choppy and setting up an umbrella may be difficult. Onar is just a 10-minute drive away and is a great option for lunch or dinner.

Achla beach is undoubtedly one of the most stunning beaches on the island, and perhaps even in the entire Cyclades region, in my humble opinion. The beach is a popular spot for camping due to its idyllic location, facing towards the east. However, it's worth noting that there are no nearby cafes or canteens to purchase refreshments, and reaching the beach by car can be a bit challenging, especially if you're driving a city car. It's much easier to access the beach by boat or a sturdy 4x4 vehicle. Nevertheless, once you arrive, you'll undoubtedly feel as though you've been transported to paradise.
