I have stayed here for three days, I ended up surfing on this beach on a shortboard for three days. The waves where long, and fun, usually the wind died down down in the late afternoon, and the conditions improved further. There was another surfer, he said that this beach has quite often surfable waves when the north wind blows (metlamia). Overly quite please with this beach. The bottom is sandy.

Although it may not be ideal for swimming during peak hours, this beach offers a truly enchanting experience for those looking to take a sunset dip. The gentle lull of the waves, the faint clatter of utensils from nearby tavernas, and the gradual illumination of Andros as the night sets in all combine to create an awe-inspiring atmosphere. I highly recommend visiting this unstructured portion of the beach at sunset for an unforgettable experience.

This is an amazing spot to take a morning stroll and witness the sunrise. Although I enjoy this beach, it may not be ideal during northerly winds. The esplanade is lined with remarkable tavernas and the boardwalk is simply stunning. The atmosphere here is more authentic and less touristy than the neighboring town of Chora.

This beach is a great option for families and is well-maintained. However, locating a suitable parking spot can be a bit of a hassle, but this is a common issue at most beaches.

The vast expanse of shoreline with pristine waters, complemented by the adjacent marina and offering a stunning vista of the chora of Andros, make for an idyllic beach experience. Witnessing the awe-inspiring sunrise is a must-do, and I recommend an early start to the day. This beach is conveniently located near the city center and is definitely worth a visit.
