I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle to drive here, as there is a small harbor that is frequently used by daily cruises and people with their own boats when they visit this beach. There are three taverns that are definitely worth a visit due to the breathtaking scenery and delicious food. The sand is fine, but when the wind is strong, which is quite common in Naxos, it can be a bit bothersome. We spent about an hour in the sea, and when we came out, our belongings were partially buried by the blowing sand.

The beach is in a secluded area, away from the usual tourist spots, but it offers a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere with local restaurants and a marina nearby. Getting here involves navigating through winding mountain roads, so it's helpful to have some driving experience. A 4WD vehicle is not necessary, but be prepared for unpaved roads.

This beach is truly incredible and often overlooked by Greeks. However, it is highly sought after by Italians and Germans who appreciate its untouched beauty, simplicity, and the fact that it is never overcrowded. It is a typical non-touristy destination that is perfect for those who seek tranquility and unspoiled surroundings. Additionally, it is a great spot for naturists, and there are two excellent tavernas nearby where you can enjoy fresh fish at reasonable prices. Kalados is particularly ideal for yacht owners, as it offers a well-equipped port for medium-sized yachts, accessible either from Filoti village (located 24 km away) or by sea. This place is an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves beautiful and preserved locations.

The beach is absolutely secluded and breathtaking. It lacks any kind of organization, but the journey to reach it, passing through Mount Zeus Park, is truly enjoyable.
