Upon my first visit to this magnificent beach in 2018, I was left in awe of its grandeur. However, my second visit in September of 2020 was marred by the unfortunate presence of excessive litter on the shore. Despite this setback, the beauty of the beach remains unparalleled and I look forward to returning in the future.

If you're a fan of turtles, then this beach is a must-visit. However, the only way to get there is by boat, which can be a hassle. You can take a water taxi from Long Beach, but be prepared to pay a hefty price. Alternatively, you can trek through the forest for an hour to get there, but it's not for the faint of heart. The locals can give you directions, but they're not always reliable. Once you finally arrive, you'll find a few small shops at the shore, but they're only open until evening. Overall, it's a lot of effort for what feels like a mediocre beach experience.

This idyllic location is simply breathtaking. The beach boasts pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters that are simply paradise on earth. In addition, there are charming huts dotted throughout the area where you can indulge in refreshing beverages and basic snacks like chips or packaged noodles while taking shelter from the sun's rays. If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the majestic turtles that swim in the bay. For the best chance of spotting them, we recommend hiring a local boat and using squid as bait to attract them.

Turtle's beach is a serene and peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Long Beach. Even during peak season, the beach is never overcrowded and you'll only find a handful of locals enjoying the 400m long stretch of sand. As the name suggests, the beach is also home to a variety of turtles that can be seen swimming in the turquoise waters. Small boats from nearby resorts come to the beach to feed the turtles with small fish and squid, providing a unique opportunity for visitors to swim alongside these gentle creatures just 50-100m from the shore. For those less confident in their swimming abilities, snorkeling masks, life jackets, and fins can be rented from the beach for RM25-30 per day. When hunger strikes, there are small bamboo stalls selling refreshing coconuts and canned beverages, and in the evenings, you can grab a delicious grilled corn for just RM3. While the beach is undeniably beautiful, it's important to note that there is a significant amount of litter scattered beneath the trees and bushes. Despite the presence of a large dustbin, many visitors seem unwilling to make the effort to dispose of their rubbish properly. To maintain the pristine condition of this stunning location, it's essential to provide more bins and remove the existing trash.
