This so-called turtle conservation and education centre is just another tourist trap. During our visit, we witnessed a pathetic attempt at treating an injured turtle. It's clear that the main goal here is to make money off of unsuspecting visitors who think they're doing something good for the environment. Don't be fooled by this place - there are much better ways to learn about turtle conservation in Malaysia.

The resort offered a delightful opportunity to swim with sea turtles during the morning. We embarked on a boat ride and dropped anchor for an hour, where we had the privilege of observing five sea turtles up close. The experience was simply breathtaking. The water was crystal clear, revealing a pristine ocean floor devoid of any rocks.
