Sabal beach

I have no complaints whatsoever. The rooms may be a bit outdated, but they are clean and comfortable. The food, in general, is quite good, and the drinks are generously served. The staff is friendly, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. This was our first time visiting Mexico, and we would definitely recommend it!

The beach location is great and the overall experience is good. Housekeeping is quick and done daily. The buffets offer a good variety of food. I would give it a 4 out of 5 because it can be difficult to get utensils and cups when the buffets are busy. The family room option doesn't have a door to the bathroom and the shower door is glass. The rooms only have all-in-one soap, unlike nicer resorts in the US. There is no self-service laundry available, only paid laundry service. Overall, we would stay here again.

After primarily staying at Secrets all inclusive in the past, we decided to change things up and stay at RIU. It was definitely a more affordable option and while the facility was very nice, and the service was decent to good, we probably won't prioritize returning. Overall, it was an acceptable experience. The service at the front desk and from the bellhops was good. Most of the staff were friendly, although there was a noticeable percentage who seemed to be just going through the motions and didn't appear overly thrilled to be there. There were plenty of beach chairs available and there were very few vendors, unlike some places where they are literally lined up along the shore. Although we didn't participate in the pool exercise/dance, we were impressed by the instructors. They put a lot of energy into their work! The bartenders at the swim-up bar also seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. We came in from the beach to grab a drink at a nearby bar and noticed how much fun they were having, so we ended up staying for a while to watch them mix drinks and joke around with the guests.

We absolutely adore this resort! Despite our attempts to explore other resorts and spending more money, we have always ended up disappointed. This resort truly excels in providing exceptional hospitality! As soon as you step foot inside, you are greeted with a refreshing drink and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing short of amazing. The beach, although quite bustling, is undeniably stunning and offers fantastic swimming opportunities. Moreover, there is a wide array of food options available. Choosing this resort is definitely a foolproof decision.

This is my second visit to this resort. The staff here are extremely friendly and they respond quickly to any requests we have. The food is decent, just as you would anticipate at a buffet, and there are always options available for the children. Our room is located in a relatively peaceful area of the hotel, but as a precaution, we bring earplugs along. The grounds are constantly maintained, both on the outside and inside, to ensure that the place remains clean and well-kept. I was also greatly impressed by the lifeguards. If you're seeking a memorable experience for the entire family, I highly recommend this place.
