What a disappointing experience we had at Vidanta! Despite having 23 pools, guests staying at the Mayan Palace are only permitted to use one pool, which happens to be the most crowded one. We struggled to find a spot by the shallow kids pool as every chair was occupied by older guests reading books. Unfortunately, we couldn't purchase day passes for our children to enjoy the kids center or find a lazy river or water slide. As first-time family vacationers, we were left feeling let down and will not be returning to Vidanta. We hope to save others from the same disappointment by sharing our experience. However, we remain optimistic and look forward to planning our next family vacation at a different destination. Vidanta, we urge you to improve your policies and amenities for families like ours.

The level of customer service at this beach location was subpar. The atmosphere was unwelcoming and the employees seemed uninformed and provided incorrect information. I had initially planned to visit this beach for a potential vacation spot, and even took a cab to get there. However, upon arrival, I was informed that I needed a day pass to enter. I spoke with four different individuals over the phone, all of whom worked at the hotel, but was unable to obtain a pass. After requesting to speak with the manager, I was transferred to a woman named Midoris Yanez, who informed me that my family and I were not allowed to enter, not even to view the beach or purchase a day pass. I attempted to purchase a pass online, as directed by the security at the main entrance, but was unsuccessful. As a result of this negative experience, I will not be considering this beach as a future vacation destination.

The safety of visitors is taken seriously at this beach, with a particular emphasis on ensuring their well-being. Tables and chairs are meticulously disinfected between each use, while pool chairs are sanitized every evening to maintain a clean and healthy environment. All staff members are seen wearing their masks correctly, which is a reassuring sight for visitors. Additionally, the beach offers on-site COVID testing for added peace of mind. The pools are kept in pristine condition, and visitors can enjoy a refreshing dip without any concerns. Finally, the food trucks are staffed by an exceptional team who provide excellent service to visitors.

The vast stretch of shoreline is adorned with the picturesque view of Puerto Vallarta in the distance, making it an ideal spot to witness the breathtaking sunset. The beach is accompanied by a sandbar, adding to its charm. The resort is conveniently located nearby, making it easily accessible. Though the quality of sand may not be top-notch, the beach's sheer size and beauty more than make up for it. The amenities may be limited, but it's still a pleasant and enjoyable place to spend your day.

The beach is truly delightful! However, during the months of September and October, the water tends to take on a brownish hue due to the influx of river water.
