Nestled along the coastline lies a stunning beach, complete with a sanctuary dedicated to the release of turtles into the wild. While the waves may occasionally become lively, we opted to forego swimming during our visit, both for ourselves and our little ones.

The turtle release event seemed more like a feeding frenzy for seabirds than a chance for the baby turtles to thrive. Unfortunately, all of the turtles released before the roosting of the birds were devoured by the opportunistic avians. However, once the birds had settled for the night, all of the released turtles were able to survive. It's a heartbreaking waste of these precious creatures, and the staff should be paid to work late so that the release can occur after the birds have roosted. Instead, they engage in a futile attempt to scare the birds away with sand-throwing, which is ineffective at a distance of just over two meters. Perhaps using an air horn or simply waiting for 20-30 minutes until the birds have settled would be more effective. Despite this disappointment, the beach itself is magnificent, with ample opportunities for long walks and swims (although it's best to stay close to the shore). The locals are friendly and often play football on the beach, happy to engage in conversation. The views are simply stunning.

This beach is a true gem with its untamed and pristine beauty. The sunsets here are simply breathtaking, leaving you in awe of nature's magnificence. My only wish is that it remains untouched by commercialization like some of the beaches in Spain or Italy.
