If you genuinely care about turtles, find another place to release them. This location is purely business-oriented. Large crowds with turtles attract numerous birds that quickly prey on the turtles. They might as well call the experience "feeding seagulls." While the intentions are good, the execution is poor, and the locals don't seem to be bothered by it.

They prioritize business and profit over the preservation and growth of the critically endangered turtle population. Turtles are sold individually, only to be eaten alive by birds and dogs on the beach. Essential measures to ensure a successful offset are neglected. I hope serious actions will be taken soon. For now, consider going elsewhere for a beautiful turtle release and support an organization that genuinely cares, such as the one in Chacahua.
