The beach can be unsafe, as evidenced by an incident on 27/11/2022 when a man attempted to harm/rob a woman with a knife. Fortunately, she was able to call for help and my boyfriend and I intervened. It's important to be cautious if you're planning on going alone.

8 Very good

The beach offers a stunning sunset view and a pleasant, refreshing atmosphere in the afternoon. At the moment, it appears to be a natural, undeveloped beach with limited amenities. Many of the beachfront buildings are still undergoing repairs or have yet to be repaired. Despite this, the ambiance is delightful, with both tourists and locals gathering to appreciate the sunset.

I'm a bit hesitant to share my thoughts about this beach because it seems like a hidden gem in Oaxaca. It's not crowded at all and the sand is a beautiful black color. The views are absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunset.

This beach is stunning and pleasantly uncrowded. It's an ideal spot for a sunset stroll, where you can dip your toes in the receding waves with each step. The foamy waves glisten in the sun, and while the sea isn't the calmest, swimming is possible if you're okay with the occasional strong wave. As they reach the shore, the waves lose their power and create a gentle sheet of water that washes over your feet. Keep your eyes peeled, and you might even catch a glimpse of humpback whales passing by.
