This beach in Colares is undoubtedly my favorite spot. The cafe here is simply amazing and I love sipping on coffee while marveling at the breathtaking view of the beach. One of the best things about this place is that it's not usually crowded, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the tranquil surroundings. I've had countless wonderful moments here and can't wait to make more memories in this idyllic location.

The beach is stunning with its natural beauty and the town is delightful. Don't forget to grab a bite or a drink at one of the restaurants that offer a view of the sea. Additionally, the Colares municipal market located on the main street next to the Eléctrico is highly recommended for its fresh and locally sourced produce ranging from wines to meats, vegetables, fish, flowers, and much more.

This beach is great for dog owners and the locals are very welcoming. The water can be chilly, but the river running alongside the beach provides warmer water. Unfortunately, there is a lot of litter that washes up on the shore and it seems like people don't make an effort to clean up after themselves. I try to do my part by picking up plastic every day, but it's disappointing that more people don't use the recycling bins and dispose of their trash properly. It would be great if we all worked together to make this beach a cleaner and more enjoyable place for everyone.
