We stayed at PickAlbatros Sea World for 11 days, and I must say, the hotel is fantastic. It's big, spacious, and incredibly peaceful. The abundance of swimming pools is quite impressive, and they never seem to be overcrowded. There are also plenty of spots to sunbathe, so finding a place is never an issue (although reservations aren't allowed, some people still manage to snag a spot at 7am).
One thing that really stood out to us was how impeccably clean everything was. The staff was constantly busy with cleaning and maintenance, even in the early hours of the morning, which was truly remarkable. The rooms were also spacious and comfortable, with cozy beds.
However, the food was quite disappointing. There was hardly any variety, and it became repetitive after a while. Unfortunately, a few days after returning home, we experienced stomach issues, which we believe may have been partly caused by the bottled water served at the hotel.
The staff was generally friendly, but it seemed that they preferred German guests. There were a few instances where we felt ignored, while guests from Germany sitting next to us received excellent service. We would have appreciated being spoken to in English rather than German.
Overall, I would rate our experience a 10 out of 10, or even 11, if the food had been better.
