We arrived at the beach at 9:00 am and the check-in process was incredibly quick. The room was nice and the view was absolutely breathtaking

We opted to stay in a privately rented apartment called Las Cabanas instead of the hotel itself. The location was peaceful and stunning. The clubhouse offered reasonably priced quick meals, and since our apartment had a kitchen, we could also cook our own meals. The snorkeling experience was absolutely fantastic. Additionally, we were able to freely access and enjoy the hotel's pools.

The location is terrible, making it difficult to visit other towns at a reasonable price. The food is rather dull, consisting of monotonous salads, rice, and a minimal amount of meat and eggs. The bar drinks are awful, labeled as cocktails but actually made with cheap rum and low-quality juices. They are only suitable for those who are alcoholics and don't care about what they consume. The rooms are decent for a three-star hotel, but you need to request soap and towels. Toothpaste is not provided. The pools are not cleaned frequently enough. The salespeople are unpleasant, but that seems to be the case everywhere. The prices in local shops are tripled, selling low-quality products for high prices. The same goes for excursions – they are overpriced for what they offer, mainly because of the limited options due to the location. Realistically, it's just a three-star hotel, so don't expect too much. Furthermore, due to the location, there is nothing to do there. You will find yourself in the middle of nowhere.

The resort was fantastic, with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the delicious oriental cuisine and the excellent beach service. The rooms were cleaned daily and provided a comfortable stay. The beach and the sea were absolutely stunning. Overall, it was an incredible vacation. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

After the pandemic, the resort appeared outdated and in need of renovation. Some of the rooms were old and unused, although our family room was satisfactory. The hotel grounds looked decent, but they could benefit from some attention to restore their beauty. The pools were enjoyable and the water was clean, although there were no water slides available. In the evenings, there was a mini disco and entertainment show. The service was average, not particularly great or terrible, but there was a sense of expecting tips. The food at the 5-star hotel was not impressive, as it seemed to be of low quality due to budget cuts. The beer was especially disappointing, tasting cheap and being served warm. There was also a shortage of ice for soft drinks. In this industry, small details make a big difference, which is unfortunate because this hotel has the potential to be good. Despite these issues, our overall experience was great because the beach was wonderful. The water had a heavenly color, and there was decent snorkeling. The warm and clear water, accompanied by the peaceful sound of distant waves, created a serene atmosphere. It would have been nice to have a bridge over the water for easier access to the beautiful bay and a better view of the waves meeting the coral barrier from above. In conclusion, the beach was perfect, but the hotel itself would benefit from a renovation and some attention to the garden. Additionally, the nice restaurant overlooking the beach was not operational during our visit in June, which was disappointing. The hotel should also reconsider their cost-cutting measures in regards to the food and drinks, as they were not up to par for a 5-star establishment. Despite these shortcomings, my family and I still had a great time, especially considering the affordable price we paid.
