The bay has a beautiful sandy beach, perfect for surfing. However, there is limited parking available and the access to the beach is quite narrow. Fortunately, it is just a short and convenient walk from the Dunstan Hill campsite.

This beach is absolutely fantastic and not very crowded. It offers breathtaking views of Dunstanburgh Castle. The ideal time to visit is in the early evening. If you take a walk through the golf course, you can reach the castle gatehouse in approximately 30 minutes.

It's a beautiful destination to explore. Finding a parking spot might be a little challenging due to limited spaces. There's a turning point at the end, but it's best to avoid it as it has a large pothole. If possible, use the gate halfway down to turn around instead. Just a heads up, you'll need to walk through a golf course to reach the beach, so be cautious once you pass through the gate.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! We stayed at the Dunstan Hill campsite, which allowed us to enjoy a lovely 20-minute walk to the beach. We spent some time there and then continued our walk, passing by Dunstanburgh castle and admiring the bay until we reached Craster, which was about 2.5 miles away. The beach was perfect for our dog, but we had to keep it on a leash when we passed the castle and walked to Craster due to the presence of sheep and cattle.

The beach is absolutely stunning, wonderfully peaceful, and not overcrowded. There's a convenient ice cream van close by and ample free parking available. You can also enjoy a breathtaking view of Dunstanburgh Castle, although personally, I wouldn't bother paying to explore its interiors.
