When it comes to parking at this beach, it can be a bit of a challenge. However, fear not, as we have some helpful tips to make your experience smoother. First and foremost, keep an eye out for the small parking area, as it can be easy to miss. Alternatively, you can park about a fifth of a mile away and walk back to the beach. No permit is required, and there are restrooms available for your convenience. It is important to note that parking off the main road is not allowed. Once you arrive at the beach, it is important to be aware of the rip current, which is always present. However, if you snorkel between the currents, you should be fine. The reef, located about six inches below the water's surface, is relatively flat and partially covered in sand. You can walk out on the reef until you reach the first drop off, which is about four feet deep. The reef can be tricky to navigate, but if you keep going, it will open up and become deeper, reaching depths of up to 12 feet. The water is crystal clear, making it a great spot for snorkeling. It is worth noting that during the winter months, the surf may not always cooperate, so it is best to check conditions before heading out. Additionally, it is important to be respectful of the locals only signs that you may come across during your journey. While they may have been written by bitter individuals who think they are locals, only Hawaiians can truly be considered locals. So, be mindful and enjoy your time at this beautiful beach.

We arrived at the beach early and were able to park without any hassle. This is undoubtedly the finest beach we have ever visited, not just on this island, but anywhere in the world! The beauty of the surroundings is simply breathtaking, and the views from the beach are surreal. We brought our snorkeling gear and explored the underwater world, marveling at the colorful fish and other sea creatures that were perched on the rocks. The water was so clear that we could see the fish even in shallow waters of just 5 feet.

The beach is truly magnificent and a must-visit destination. Although it may be a bit of a drive, the journey is well worth it. Upon arrival, you will find ample parking, clean bathrooms, and a stunning beach with breathtaking views. It is important to note that there are a few rocks in the water, so it is recommended to wear water shoes or beach shoes to make your experience more comfortable. However, this is not a major issue and should not deter you from enjoying the warm and crystal-clear waters. If you have snorkeling gear, be sure to bring it along as you will have the opportunity to capture some truly stunning photos.

This beach has stunning scenery and an abundance of protected, picturesque natural reef areas perfect for snorkeling. However, during the winter season, the waves can be quite the spectacle, but they're far too tumultuous for any snorkeling endeavors. Unless you're an experienced surfer, you might want to steer clear. Perhaps summer would be a better time to visit, but that's entirely up to you.

Although parking may be a challenge, this beach is undoubtedly one of the most beloved on the island. The picturesque backdrop is simply unbeatable, and the reef provides a safe haven for swimming. The crystal-clear water is a stunning shade of turquoise, making it a feast for the eyes.
