Oahu has a hidden treasure in the form of a breathtaking beach that surpasses Waikiki in terms of its water and scenery. The only downside is that visitors need to rent a car in order to access this gem.

The beach offers breathtaking views that are truly captivating. It exudes a sense of tranquility, providing a serene and calming atmosphere that is perfect for relaxation. The bus station is conveniently located just a short 10-minute walk away, with a crossing at the Sea Life Park. Alternatively, parking is available right alongside the highway, providing easy access to the beach.

This beach is truly a hidden gem, often overlooked by many. It offers the perfect conditions for surfing and enjoying the company of loved ones. Unlike traditional sandy beaches, the currents here are much gentler, making for a more relaxing experience. The breathtaking sunrise and refreshing sea breezes only add to the charm of this spot. Make sure to take a moment to climb to a lookout point for a stunning aerial view of the beach.

Avoid this beach at all costs. The area is infested with homeless individuals who have set up camp and left behind a trail of garbage and filth. It's a truly unpleasant sight to behold. If you're looking for a better option, head to the Makapu'u Beach Park located further south.
