A very relaxing beach featuring gentle waves and stunning sunsets, frequented mostly by locals. The easiest way to reach it from Quepos is by walking to the El Cocal ferry boat and paying 250 colones for the quick one-minute ride

6 Pleasant

The beach is accessible with a small boat, costs 250 colones pp to cross in each direction. When we were there there were 0 tourists accept us :). The entrance is nice and sandy but under the houses at the edge of the beach there is some trash or disposals and only locals were around fishing and playing ball. We didn't see toilets or anything of a kind :))

This is a free beach to visit. I walked here from the center of Quepos, and you may need to take a 1-minute boat ride to reach this area, which costs 250 colones as of April 2023. So, I still consider it a free visit in Costa Rica. The beach is relaxing and incredibly enjoyable. Just don’t forget to use mosquito repellent.

Possibly one of the most gorgeous beaches ever due to the fact it is virtually untouched by mass tourists. Very peaceful expansive views of beach. The sunsets are the best I have seen worldwide. Also one of the best beaches in which to swim the waves feel just perfect. You can walk for many miles just enjoying the view and nature. The sea is filled with very interesting fish. Tons of palm trees everywhere. For me it is a piece of paradise, very calming. Love the ever changing colors of the sea and sky.

Was hoping to go to this beach but (luckily) a buff, very masculine local told us that’s it’s very dangerous - day or night - you will get robbed 99% of the time - even he doesn’t go there.
