The beach boasts a stunning expanse of velvety sand that stretches on for miles. While we were unable to take a dip in the crystal-clear waters due to the park's 3 pm closure policy, we were still able to bask in the beauty of the surroundings. Though there are a few rules in place to protect the wildlife, such as not being able to take photos after 3 pm or use the restrooms, it's a small price to pay for the preservation of such a breathtaking forest and its beaches. Overall, the beach is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to soak up some sun and take in nature's splendor.

The beach is absolutely breathtaking, enveloped by a vibrant green forest that is home to playful monkeys. The bay is somewhat sheltered, and the water was delightfully calm and warm during my visit. While Espadilla main beach is more exposed and ideal for surfing, this beach offers a tranquil oasis for those seeking a peaceful and serene escape.

This beach is a true gem, boasting breathtaking views of the lush trees that surround it. Although the sand may be a bit gritty and there are no nearby showers, don't let that deter you from visiting this incredible spot. It's the perfect place to unwind after exploring the nearby reserve.

Playa Espadillo, although visually stunning, is unfortunately a popular tourist destination. The beach is overcrowded, especially at the south end where people from all over the world flock to visit Manuel Antonio Park. Parking is a nightmare, as parking hustlers demand money for a spot. Even if you give them a fair amount, they may still become aggressive. This is a common issue in Quepos and Manuel Antonio, but not elsewhere in Costa Rica. Despite this, the water is warm and the tropical environment is beautiful. However, it's hard to fully enjoy the beach with the constant crowds and parking problems.

What a stunning seaside spot, teeming with fascinating fauna! Prepare to be dazzled by the presence of iguanas, Jesus Christ lizards, monkeys, and sloths. It's a veritable menagerie of creatures, all coexisting in perfect harmony. This beach is truly a nature lover's paradise, and a destination that should not be missed.
